Keep your station on air around the clock. Your live shows take over the moment you start — and your music fills every gap the second you stop. Listeners never hit dead air.
Broadcast from the app or encoder and listeners instantly hear you — it overrides the music.
The second you end the broadcast, your 24/7 AutoDJ picks right back up.
Your station link always plays something — a real station, on air all day.
Your one public link — live.radioworld.fm/your-username — is all listeners ever need. The switching happens behind it, automatically. Nothing changes on their end.
Use the GoLive Encoder (Windows / Mac) — no server, no passwords, one switch.
Don't have it yet? Grab it from live.radioworld.fm — Windows & Mac.
This tells the encoder to feed your background music to your station around the clock.
Play a folder, a player, or any desktop audio — the encoder streams it as your AutoDJ.
If you already have an AzuraCast (or any Icecast source) automating your music, point its AutoDJ / remote relay at your station's background feed. Use these settings — swap in your own username:
Send AzuraCast to the -247 mount (your always-on music), not your plain /your-username — that one is reserved for your live show so it can take over cleanly. Matching the format to AAC keeps the switch between music and live seamless.
One AutoDJ at a time. If AzuraCast plays your music, turn OFF “24/7 AutoDJ Mode” in the GoLive Encoder (⚙ Settings → Server) — two AutoDJs fighting for the same feed block each other with a 403 Forbidden error. The encoder then stays your live-show tool, taking over the music whenever you press GO LIVE.
Start a show when inspiration strikes; it takes over on its own. End it, and the music's already back. That's a proper 24/7 station — powered by GoLive.
