GoLive streams audio using the industry-standard Icecast protocol. The mobile app encodes your voice in AAC format at up to 128kbps, while the GoLive Encoder for desktop streams in MP3 at 128kbps with studio-grade WASAPI audio capture. Your stream is hosted on our dedicated server infrastructure at live.radioworld.fm, powered by Icecast2 — the same technology trusted by thousands of internet radio stations worldwide.
