Terms & Conditions — GoLive

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GoLive | Stream Yourself app and the website live.radioworld.fm, operated by Nu World Entertainment ("we", "us", "our"). By registering or using GoLive, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use GoLive. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and truthful information when registering your station
Your username must be appropriate, not impersonate others, and not contain offensive language
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
One account per broadcaster; duplicate registrations may be removed
We reserve the right to refuse or reclaim usernames that violate these Terms

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use GoLive to broadcast, transmit, or publish:

Content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, abusive, or harassing
Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
Sexually explicit or pornographic content
Content that incites violence or promotes terrorism
Copyrighted music or content without appropriate licences or permissions
Misinformation or deliberately false news presented as fact
Private information of others without their consent
Content designed to defraud or mislead listeners
Malicious code, spam, or automated broadcasting

4. Broadcasting & Copyright

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary licences for any music, sound recordings, or third-party content you broadcast. Nu World Entertainment is not responsible for any copyright infringement by broadcasters. We will respond to valid DMCA takedown requests by disabling the relevant stream.

5. Audio Recording Consent & Broadcasting Law

By using GoLive to broadcast, you acknowledge and agree that:

You are solely responsible for obtaining consent from any individuals whose voices are captured in your broadcast, as required by applicable law in your jurisdiction
In jurisdictions that require all-party consent for audio recording (including several US states, many EU countries, and other jurisdictions), you must obtain such consent before broadcasting conversations involving other parties
You must not use GoLive's Call In feature to record telephone conversations without the other party's knowledge and consent where required by law
Broadcasting live audio that includes others' voices without consent may constitute illegal wiretapping or eavesdropping in your jurisdiction — you bear sole legal responsibility for compliance
Nu World Entertainment does not store, record, or archive your live audio streams. Streams are transmitted in real-time to listeners only.

6. Broadcaster Profile

Your public profile at live.radioworld.fm/yourname is visible to all users of the internet. You grant Nu World Entertainment a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your profile information (username, station name, photo, description, schedule) on the GoLive directory and in promotional materials.

7. GoLive Pro Subscription

GoLive Pro is a paid subscription available via Google Play Billing
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
Refunds are handled by Google Play per their refund policies
We reserve the right to change Pro pricing with reasonable notice
Pro features are subject to change; we will notify users of significant removals
GoLive Pro removes all Unity Ads advertisements from the app

8. GoLive Encoder (Desktop Software)

The GoLive Encoder is free desktop software provided to registered GoLive broadcasters for streaming to their own station
Each installation is issued an automatically generated licence key; the key identifies your installation and may not be resold or misrepresented as a paid product
You may only broadcast to the station username registered to you; connecting to another broadcaster's stream is prohibited and grounds for termination
The software is provided "as is"; we may release updates that change or discontinue features
These Terms, including Acceptable Use and Copyright rules, apply equally to broadcasts made with the desktop software

9. Service Availability

We aim to maintain the GoLive streaming service 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, upgrades, or experience outages beyond our control. We are not liable for lost broadcast time due to service interruptions.

10. Intellectual Property

The GoLive app, branding, website, and platform code are owned by Nu World Entertainment. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of our platform without written permission.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your broadcaster account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via our Data Deletion request page.

12. Limitation of Liability

GoLive is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nu World Entertainment shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of broadcast time, data, or revenue.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nu World Entertainment and its staff from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of GoLive, your broadcasts, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced in the app. Continued use of GoLive after changes constitutes your acceptance.
