Under the FTC's updated COPPA Rule (effective April 22, 2026), voice recordings and voiceprints are classified as biometric personal information and are afforded heightened protection.
By registering for GoLive, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information or used the microphone feature, please contact us at nuworldentertainment.nwe@gmail.com and we will promptly delete all associated data.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, hashed passwords, and restricted server access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have the following additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right to access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data

- Right to restriction — request that we limit how we process your data
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including for direct marketing
- Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw at any time
Our legal basis for processing your data is: contract performance (to provide the broadcasting service), legitimate interests (analytics, security), and consent (newsletter, advertising). - Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information
- Right to opt out — the advertising SDKs integrated into the free version of GoLive (Google AdMob and Unity Ads) may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal data under CCPA. You may opt out by upgrading to GoLive Pro (which disables all ads) or by contacting us
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights
To submit a CCPA request, contact us at nuworldentertainment.nwe@gmail.com.
10. Third-Party Services
GoLive integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase — analytics and crash reporting
- Google Play Billing — subscription payments
- Unity Ads — advertising (free version only). Unity may collect device identifiers and approximate location for ad targeting. GoLive Pro users do not see Unity Ads.
- Google AdMob — advertising (free version only). Google may collect your advertising ID, IP address and approximate location to serve and measure ads. GoLive Pro users do not see AdMob ads.
Controlling ad personalisation. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time on Android via Settings → Google → Ads, where you may also opt out of ad personalisation. Users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom are asked for consent before personalised ads are served, and may withdraw that consent at any time. Upgrading to GoLive Pro removes all advertising.
11. GoLive Encoder (Desktop Application)
The free GoLive Encoder for desktop follows the same privacy principles as the mobile app, with these differences:
- No advertising or analytics SDKs — the desktop encoder contains no Google AdMob, no Unity Ads, no Firebase, and no tracking of any kind
- Licence key — a random licence identifier is generated on your own computer at first launch and stored locally; it contains no personal information
- Settings stay local — your configuration (username, faders, theme) is stored only on your computer; stream credentials are encrypted using your operating system's secure storage
- Server communication — the encoder contacts our API only to verify your username, fetch your stream configuration, and transmit your live audio to the Icecast server (which logs IP address and stream metadata as described above)
- Audio — as with the mobile app, we do not store or record your audio streams on our servers
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of GoLive after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
